Pickleball Brain is a pickleball strategy trainer with AI coaching. This policy explains how it treats your information — including when you use AI features.

The short version

Your progress stays on your device and syncs only through your own private iCloud. We don't run analytics, show ads, or sell your data. The one time information leaves your device is when you use AI coaching — then the game context needed for the tip is sent to the AI provider (Anthropic) under your own account. We never see it.

Who we are

Pickleball Brain: AI Trainer is made by Many Worlds Labs, an independent software studio. Reach us through our contact form.

What information the app handles

Pickleball Brain stores your game progress, statistics, and settings on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, this progress may sync across your Apple devices through your private iCloud — under your control, with no access by us.

AI coaching

Pickleball Brain can generate coaching, analysis, and tips using AI. This feature works with your own Anthropic (Claude) API key, which you add in the app:

  • When you request AI coaching, the game context needed to produce the response is sent from your device directly to Anthropic under your own account, subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Many Worlds Labs never receives this data and never sees your key.
  • The data sent is limited to what the coaching request needs — your gameplay context and the prompt. It does not include your contacts, location, or other personal information.
  • If you don't add an API key or don't use the AI features, nothing is sent off your device.

You can remove or change your key in the app at any time, and delete or rotate it in the Anthropic Console.

Microphone & voice dictation

You can ask the coach by voice. When you dictate, the app captures audio through the microphone and uses Apple's speech recognition to convert it to text. Depending on your device and locale, Apple may process this on your device or send the audio to Apple's servers for transcription, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Many Worlds Labs never receives your audio — only the transcribed text becomes your question, which is then handled as an AI coaching request (described above). Dictation needs microphone and speech-recognition permission, which you can grant or revoke at any time in Settings.

What we collect

Nothing, by us. Pickleball Brain has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs — the developer never receives your data. It does not request your location, contacts, or camera. The only data that leaves your device is the AI coaching requests you initiate, which go directly to the AI provider described above — not to us.

Keeping and deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its on-device data. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can remove synced data from your iCloud settings. Removing your API key in the app stops any further data from being sent to the AI provider.

Children's privacy

Pickleball Brain: AI Trainer is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
